Dear Mayor Lefebvre and City Council,
SUDBURY CHAMBER APPLAUDS COUNCIL’S BOLD, HISTORIC PURCHASE OF DOWNTOWN LANDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPMENT
I am writing to express our congratulations on the council’s decision to purchase a significant amount of property East of the Sudbury Community Arena.
We are pleased to see this development-friendly council’s continued positive movement. We have been inspired by the events of the Future-Ready Development Services Committee and the spirit of the council to make development a priority in our city.
Our chamber knows the importance of a strong, vibrant downtown and we know that Sudbury taking the lead on this development is a bold, brave move. There will be disruption, as with all big changes, but we know it will lead to something greater. We look forward to seeing businesses grasp this unique opportunity in this re-developed area of downtown.
