EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

Bringing new energy to a stagnant industry has allowed Anthony to gain multiple community honours. He was the recipient of the Business Start-up Award in 2017 at the Bell Business Excellence Award ceremonies, and was featured in Volume 2 of the ‘Biznes Magazine. Anthony stays involved in the community through organizations such as the Sudbury Foodbank, Regional Business Centre, and CTV Christmas Telethon.
For the past two years, Anthony has served as a committed member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce. During his time with the chamber, Anthony has served as an active participant on its Municipal Advocacy Committee and its Provincial Advocacy Committee where he lends his ideas and expertise.

Geoff believes that small business is the corner stone of our communities and our economy. It is their responsibility to contribute their time and resources to organizations such as the chamber that can improve the quality of life in their community. Geoff just completed his 2nd year as a director for the chamber where he focused his efforts based on these beliefs. In addition to his role as a director, Geoff has served as an active member of the chamber’s Municipal Advocacy Committee, its Workforce Task Force, and its Ring of Fire Task Force.
Geoff was born and raised in Cobalt, Ontario and came to Sudbury to attend Cambrian College where he graduated from the School of Business, Information Systems program. He is a strong advocate for education and has been a long-standing member on the Cambrian College Program Advisory Board for their computer programs and is a director for the Cambrian Foundation.
Outside of the office Geoff enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children. He is a dance Dad, a hockey coach, and enjoys fishing, golf and curling.

Prior to joining Fisher Wavy, Trevor worked as a Tax Senior Manager with KPMG advising clients on tax compliance, tax planning and general business matters. He can be described by his peers as dedicated, hardworking, and personable. Trevor continues to have a strong sense of devotion to his work and is always willing to go above and beyond to improve his skills and motivate those around him.
Trevor received his Chartered Accountant / Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2013 and completed his In-Depth Tax Certificate in 2017. Trevor has been appointed to the Board of Governors for Cambrian College and has previously sat on the board for the Sudbury Young Professionals Association in the role of Vice Chair. Trevor is a proud husband and father, a die-hard Raptors fan and loves to spend his spare time camping and golfing.

Degree in Business Administration, as well as a Chartered Professional Accountant’s Designation. Joanne
has been with the firm, Baker Tilly SNT (formerly Collins Barrow) since 1993 and became a partner in
2011.
Offering a very approachable and hands-on style of working, Joanne has worked with a variety of clients
including, individuals, family-owned businesses, corporations, professionals, and not-for-profit
organizations. Through initiative and sincerity, she has earned her clients’ respect and appreciation with her
ability to clearly explain the results of their financials and Baker Tilly SNT’s work.
Joanne’s passion for helping others achieve success is ambitious. Providing services in the areas of business
consulting, bookkeeping, accounting, personal and corporate tax, Joanne has helped clients progress and
further their success. With an earnest commitment, Joanne also extends that passion to staff and students,
helping them grow and reach their full potential.
A life-long resident of Greater Sudbury, Joanne supports the community through various volunteer and
board positions. She is currently the President of BPW Greater Sudbury as well as a past President of the
Sudbury Community Foundation, a past committee member of the Regional Business Centre’s Starter
Company program, as well as having judged a variety of local business plan challenges over the years. A
proud Mom of 3 young men, aged 26, 24 and 21; Joanne spent many years involved with the Joe Macdonald
Youth Football League, the Sudbury Gladiators, the Sudbury Playground Hockey League and various
school activities during her children’s school years

A native of Sudbury, Neil attended Laurentian University where he obtained his Bachelor of Mining Engineering. He is currently a Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineers of Ontario and is a Registered Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute.
Neil has served on the Chamber of Commerce Board for three years; he is the Chair of the Board of Directors.
Neil strongly believes in service to the local community and when he is not leading a local Scout troop, coaching curling or volunteering for various committees, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Kathryn, and their 2 children at camp, camping and canoeing.
Neil has served as a volunteer for a number of different and diverse organizations within Sudbury, including. Vice Chair of the CIM Sudbury Branch; Cambrian Mining Program Advisory Committee as a member and evaluator; and holding multiple leadership roles as a decorated member of Scouts Canada.

A native Sudburian, Debbi Nicholson is the President and CEO of the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce and is in her 43rd year with the chamber, making her one of the longest-serving chamber executives in Canada today. As a strong community supporter and builder, Debbi has served on a number of local, provincial and national committees and boards in addition to serving the chamber managers’ associations at both the provincial and national levels. Debbi has been recognized for her leadership with numerous awards from her peers, the province and Canada.
