The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce welcomes the announcement on May 24, 2011 of the Laurentian School of Architecture.The chamber was one of the first organizations to discuss such an opportunity more than four years ago.
The chamber wishes to acknowledge Minister Bartolucci and the provincial government for their commitment to this project. Congratulations to Dominic Giroux and Laurentian’s Board of Governors and Senate, City Council, the School of Architecture Committee including Blaine Nicholls, David Robinson, and Kate Bowman and to the GSDC.

Sudbury MPP Rick Bartolucci announced the province is making a $5 million investment in the architecture school through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC).
