David McNeil, President & CEO, Health Sciences North and Health Sciences North Research Institute, spoke at the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce’s President’s Series Luncheon on March 21, 2024.

Hundreds of attendees turned out to hear Dr. McNeil speak about the future of healthcare at HSN, and the role HSN plays in health care in Northeastern Ontario.

HSN is Greater Sudbury’s largest employer and contributes nearly $1B to the local economy annually.  McNeil became the President & CEO of HSN on October 16th, 2023 after serving as the CEO of the Brant Community Healthcare System for more than five years. McNeil is no stranger to Sudbury or HSN, as he previously spent more than 20 years on their executive team.

HSN is Northeastern Ontario’s regional hospital, and it aims to provide high-quality health services, support learning, and generate research that improves health outcomes for the people of Northeastern Ontario.
