The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce hosted Jeremy Tessier, Specialist, Knowledge Transfer, at the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), for our President’s Series Luncheon on January 18, 2024.
Tessier focuses on engaging the housing sector to deliver information on CMHC’s programs and the National Housing Strategy. He works closely with developers and community groups to support sustainable and affordable housing in Ontario, and Sudbury.
The CMHC’s goal is ‘ensuring everyone living in Canada has a place to call home.’ Their guiding principles are courage, community, and impact. The National Housing Strategy is an $82-billion dollar federal initiative led and delivered by the CMHC.
