Chamber Announces 2026-27 Board of Directors

The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2026-27 Board of Directors, led by newly elected Chair Joanne LeBreton, Partner at Baker Tilly SNT. The Board was sworn in during a ceremony on July 8 and will help guide the organization's advocacy and strategic priorities over the coming year.
"It's an honour to serve as Chair of the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce," said LeBreton. "Our business community continues to demonstrate resilience, innovation and leadership in the face of evolving opportunities and challenges. I look forward to continuing to work alongside this dedicated team and Chamber staff to strengthen the voice of business, support our members and help create the conditions for long-term economic success across Greater Sudbury."
In addition to LeBreton, five other business leaders were elected by the Chamber’s membership to serve two-year terms on the Board of Directors:
  • Alex Bertuzzi, Vice President, Reliable Cleaning Services/Maintenance Products
  • Katie Bissonette, Vice President, Mansour Chemicals and Commodities Division, Mansour Group
  • Keith Crigger, Relationship Manager, TD
  • Karen Mathewson, Director of Sales, Agilis Networks
  • Steve McNeil, General Manager, Workforce Inc. and Managing Partner, Unmanned Aerial Services Inc.
They join the following directors entering the second year of their elected two-year terms:
  • Zachary Courtemanche, Partner, Weaver Simmons LLP
  • Anthony Davis, Owner, Greater Sudbury Plumbing, Heating and A/C
  • Josée Gatien, Managing Partner, Northern Insurance Brokers Inc.
  • Daniel Giroux, President, Collège Boréal
  • Max Massimiliano, Owner, Don’s Pizza
  • Layna O’Connell, Human Resources Director, Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations, a Glencore Company
The Chamber also appointed four directors for one-year terms:
  • Ajmerry Hossain, Owner, Noukify
  • Joey Monticelli, Controller, Beamish Construction Inc.
  • Mark Prystupa, General Manager, Indigenous and Community Relations, Vale Base Metals
  • Nick Stewart, Director of Governance, Wahnapitae First Nation
The Board’s Executive Council for 2026/2027 includes:
  • Joanne LeBreton, Chair
  • Josée Gatien, First Vice Chair
  • Max Massimiliano, Second Vice Chair
  • Alex Bertuzzi, Treasurer
  • Zachary Courtemanche, Past Chair
  • Marie Litalien, President and CEO
Representing the diversity and strength of the local business community, the Chamber’s Board of Directors provides strategic leadership and oversight for the organization. The Board helps guide the Chamber’s work to support business growth, advocate on behalf of its nearly 850 member businesses and advance economic prosperity across the community.
Elected directors serve two-year terms, while appointed directors serve one-year terms. All terms begin on July 1 and conclude on June 30 of the following year.
