The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) has completed a route planning and preliminary design for Highway 144 from approximately 6 kilometres south of Chelmsford to approximately 8 kilometres north of Dowling, a distance of approximately 27 kilometres.
A Screening Evaluation has been carried out for the Preliminary Corridor Alternatives displayed at the first PIC back in September 2010. The purpose of the screening evaluation was to identify Corridors that did not merit additional development or evaluation since they had one or more significant flaws.
