Are you passionate about STEM education? Does teaching and learning excite you? If so, we would like to hear from you! Science North is currently recruiting a STEM Communicator to deliver exciting programs for students throughout Northern Ontario.
The STEM Communicator is a key member of the Education and Northern Programs team, delivering and supporting digital programs and initiatives that reach elementary school students. This role will focus on the delivery of virtual student programs, as well as in-person programs throughout Northern Ontario. The successful candidate will also support the program development process. Successful candidates will have experience working in STEM with elementary students. Qualified candidates will have experience in program delivery along with a formal background (or equivalent experience) in science, education and/or related STEM fields. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
