Over the last year and a half, your chamber has been working with the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and the government to develop an acceptable and fair policy concerning billboard advertising on northern highways that are being four-laned.
We are happy to report that the MTO will now permit billboards to be located on all highways (11, 17, 69 and 144) designated as bush country highways.
Installations will need to adhere to new requirements.
