The Honourable Vic Fedeli, Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, and MPP for Nipissing, drew more than 150 people to the Radisson Hotel on February 6, for the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce’s first Meet the Minister event of the fiscal year.
In 2011, Fedeli was elected to the Ontario Legislature and is now serving his fourth term as MPP for Nipissing. In 2018, the PC Caucus unanimously elected him to serve as Interim Leader of the Official Opposition. Fedeli served 10 terms on the Board of the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce, served as Director with Global Vision, and has served on many agencies, boards, and commissions, often as Chair.
“Greater Sudbury’s prosperity is dependent on a strong business community,” said Anthony Davis, Chair of the Board of Directors, Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce. “Minister Fedeli is no stranger to Northern Ontario. Now, more than ever, Ontario needs a vision for long-term, sustained economic growth.”
Fedeli talked about battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and Northern Ontario’s place in the transition to clean energy technologies.
