On September 29, the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce sent a letter to Chief Paul Pederson sharing our membership’s concerns regarding the safety of staff, patrons, and property.

The chamber indicated that some member businesses in downtown and other areas of the community have faced instances of theft at their properties, loitering, indecent exposure, among other acts, that have resulted in the loss of goods, customers, and threats and assaults to their employees.

The chamber asked the Chief of Police to address businesses’ concerns and assist them in such matters.  Read the complete letter here
