GREATER SUDBURY, September 16, 2019 – The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce has a long history of hosting forums for candidates for political office to share their platforms and positions, specifically on issues related to the business community and how to improve the economic viability of our area. The chamber will continue the tradition this year in advance of the 2019 federal election.

The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce invites the community to join them for their election events in the Sudbury and Nickel Belt ridings.

The Sudbury Riding event will take place on Wednesday, October 9 from 7:00-9:30 pm at Collège Boréal.

The Nickel Belt Riding event will take place on Thursday, October 10 from 7:00-9:30 pm at Confederation Secondary School.

In the interest of hosting a productive election event, the chamber will be inviting only those federal candidates whose parties currently hold a seat in the House of Commons. There will be an opportunity for candidates to answer questions on matters of importance to Greater Sudbury’s business community, along with an opportunity for the audience to submit written questions to the candidates both prior to and during the event. Audience members can submit questions to the chamber prior to the event at [email protected] or via Twitter at @SudburyCofC.
