Downtown Development Task Force

Advocacy Committee

The May meeting of the Advocacy Committee included a presentation from a chamber member concerned about the state of industrial lands in Sudbury.  The Committee also continued its discussion about FedNor as an agency vs. program and how the organization can better serve the North.

We need answers: cap and trade concerns

On May 12th, the chamber network sent a letter to the Minister of Environment and Climate Change regarding the Ontario government’s plans to implement the cap-and-trade system.
