We are the leading source for business events in the city, bringing together like-minded people in business, industry and politics. The chamber hosts over 40 events per year attended by over 4000 people.
PEP Conference & Tradeshow
January 21st – 23rd, 2019. PEP is a conference and tradeshow created to explore ways to grow the Northern resource development and infrastructure sectors through innovative supply chain management. This includes a discussion of the advantages of partnerships; learning from those who have successfully designed and executed local procurement frameworks; and how we can best prepare our youth and the workforce for the jobs of tomorrow.
Date TBA. Our Annual Curling Bonspiel is a great way to beat the winter blues while networking with other business professionals and building team morale. You can enter as a team or as a single player, no previous curling experience is necessary. The tournament is held at one of Greater Sudbury’s finest member curling clubs and features a three four-end game format, contests and prize giveaways. Breakfast and lunch are provided. Hurry hard and register so you don’t miss out on a fun Friday on the ice!
International Women's Day
March 8th, 2019. International Women’s Day started in 1911 and is recognized annually around the world on March 8th to celebrate the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. Join us in celebrating and hear from some of Greater Sudbury’s most influential leaders. Whether you are looking to bring an idea to fruition or just want to hear an inspiring story, this event will leave you energized and proud of the leaders in our community!
Bell Business Excellence Awards
May 23rd, 2019. From young entrepreneurs operating out of their home to established owners of international companies, the Bell Business Excellence Awards is a fantastic evening that points a spotlight on the people who form the backbone of our community and the family, friends and experiences that keep them going. Get involved by nominating a business or entrepreneur, becoming a sponsor or registering to attend!
June 6, 2019. Let’s be serious, who wouldn’t want to spend a day on the links? The Chamber Golf Classic is our highly anticipated event held in June. Participants include various chamber members and their guests. The focus of the day is to network, build team morale and have fun! The tournament is held at one of Greater Sudbury’s finest member golf courses and features a shotgun start played in a scramble format. Contests will take place all day followed by a networking reception and dinner. Does this sound up to par?
Mayor's State of the City Address
Date TBA. Each year, the Mayor of Greater Sudbury delivers an address. The Mayor will speak on the future of this great city of ours, and the exciting projects moving it forward. This speech, which is commonly known as the Mayor’s most important address of the year, is done typically to a sold-out crowd. Be there live and in-person to get the opportunity to ask your question to the Mayor, and hear important issues from your fellow Sudburians
Annual General Meeting
October 30th, 2018. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an evening of networking, reflection and a positive look to the future. The AGM is one of the highlights of the Chamber’s calendar with an audience of approximately 200 business leaders from the Greater Sudbury area. It features a keynote address from a noteworthy speaker, who in the past has included former Prime Ministers, business leaders, media commentators, politicians and comedians.

Planning a holiday party is a lot of work and we don’t want you to stress, we’ve got the planning covered, all you have to do is enjoy the evening. The Holiday Party is a chance for your company to join us in celebrating a great year in business while networking and relaxing.

Networking After Five
Networking After Five events are monthly networking sessions, held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at different member locations throughout the community. Networking After Five is Greater Sudbury’s premier networking opportunity. Attendees are encouraged to exchange business cards, introduce new staff members, or meet new clients and customers. We encourage members to get involved by hosting, sponsoring or having a booth.
