Currently seeking CONFINED SPACE ATTENDANTS for a shutdown. Contract dates : Oct 2 – 16 (Tentative).

Shutdowns occur when industrial plants halt their work for pre-emptive maintenance. In that time, Confined Space Attendants are brought in to assist with various projects.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Know the hazards. In the case of the attendant, this can often include using air monitoring equipment to keep a close watch on the atmospheric conditions inside the confined space and communicate any changes observed.
Know the behavioural effects of the hazards.
Be able to identify the authorized entrants.
Remain outside until relieved.
Communicate with entrants through out the work period.
Monitor and evacuate entrants if necessary.
Warn away unauthorized persons.
Order evacuation of the permit space when required
Summon emergency services
Verify emergency plans
